Familybrithdayparty!

So, today is my grandma's 70s birthday and I have NO idea what to wear! I hardly got clothes that fits me as I havent afforded buying anything new for years, and I don't really have that much accessories to make an outfit look better either. I'm just out of ideas! Sometimes I really hate being from a poor family cause it really sucks having nothing to wear. But oh well, I'll figure something out I guess. If any of you got suggestions aswell I would be grateful.

(Btw, I might be getting yesterdays cakeurge neutralized today :D)

  1. Aaw I'm from a poor family too so I know how you feel. I never had any new clothes when I was younger.

I worked really hard at school, uni and eventually got a good job so that I wouldn't be poor all my life. I just got my first pay cheque 2 weeks ago and it was the best feeling ever!

I hope you have a great time at your Grandma's birthday!

    1. Thing is.. doesnt work like that in this country. You can't get a single good paying job unless you have high education. And its really really hard to get a job at all when you're under education. So I'm in a sucky job while studying and aint earning enough for anything else than my rent. So my boyfriend pays all the food etc aswell, without him i'd be homeless. :p And it will probably stay this way until i'm done at the university in approx 4 years if i pass all years. So meh! Going to be hard. You're lucky :)

  2. You're studying though, and that's the most important thing you can do. You are still getting that education.

Where I live, I see so many people brought into poor families on the same estate I grew up who just drop out of school with no qualifications, get a dead end job and then have children. So the cycle continues...

Whilst I was at uni, I relied on my partner for the bills too so I know that can be difficult. I was at uni for 5 years in all. A really, really long time but stick it out, even when it gets hard.

Good luck with it. I really hope it all goes well for you.
